If you use our services on behalf of a company, organisation or other legal entity, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms on behalf of that entity.
HostingTera may provide web hosting, reseller hosting, email hosting, WordPress hosting, domain-related services, SSL-related services, website tools, account management and technical support.
The exact features, limits, resources, storage, bandwidth, email accounts, cPanel accounts or other included services depend on the plan selected at the time of purchase.
You agree to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information when creating an account, placing an order or contacting support.
You are responsible for keeping your account login details, passwords, billing access, email access and client area secure. You are responsible for all activity performed through your account, unless caused by our proven fault or a security issue under our control.
You must notify us as soon as possible if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
You must use HostingTera services lawfully and responsibly. You must not use our services for:
We may suspend, restrict or terminate services if we reasonably believe that your account violates this Acceptable Use section, creates security risks, harms other customers or exposes HostingTera to legal or operational risk. Where possible and appropriate, we will try to notify you before taking action, but urgent security or abuse cases may require immediate action.
You are responsible for all websites, files, databases, applications, email content, scripts and materials hosted under your account.
HostingTera does not actively monitor all customer content. However, we may investigate abuse reports, security alerts, legal notices or technical issues and may take action where necessary to protect our services, customers or third parties.
Domain registrations, renewals and transfers are subject to the rules of the relevant registry, registrar and domain extension. You are responsible for providing accurate domain registration data and keeping it up to date.
Domain registrations and renewals are generally non-refundable once submitted to the registrar, unless applicable law or the registrar's rules require otherwise.
HostingTera is not responsible for domain loss caused by incorrect customer data, expired payment, failed renewal, transfer issues outside our control, registry restrictions or customer failure to respond to domain verification requests.
Email hosting must be used in a lawful and responsible manner. You must not use our email services for spam, phishing, bulk unsolicited email, malware distribution or misleading messages.
We may apply sending limits, spam filtering, abuse controls or temporary restrictions to protect the reputation, deliverability and security of our email systems.
HostingTera may provide backup options depending on the service or plan. Backups are offered as a support and recovery feature, but they should not be treated as your only backup strategy.
You are responsible for keeping your own independent backups of websites, databases, files, emails and other data. We do not guarantee that a backup will always be available, complete, current or restorable in every situation.
We aim to provide reliable hosting services, but no hosting service can be guaranteed to be uninterrupted, error-free or available at all times.
Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, upgrades, network issues, hardware failures, software bugs, security incidents, third-party provider issues, force majeure events or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We may update, improve, replace, suspend or discontinue parts of the service where necessary for security, legal, technical or business reasons.
Support is provided through the available support channels, such as the ticket system, client area, contact page or knowledge base.
Support covers reasonable help with HostingTera services, account issues, billing questions, basic setup, domain-related questions and hosting configuration. Support does not include custom development, third-party application debugging, website design, advanced code repair or work outside the service purchased, unless agreed separately.
Services must be paid in advance according to the selected billing cycle. You are responsible for paying invoices before the due date and keeping your billing details accurate.
HostingTera offers a 14-day money-back guarantee on eligible hosting services, unless a specific service page or checkout notice states otherwise.
The following services are generally not refundable once ordered, activated, registered, renewed, transferred or delivered, unless mandatory law requires otherwise:
If you are a consumer in the European Union or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer rights, nothing in these terms is intended to limit rights that cannot be limited by law, including any statutory right of withdrawal that may apply to online service contracts.
If a service begins before the end of a statutory withdrawal period at your request, any refund may be reduced where permitted by law to reflect the service already provided.
We may suspend or terminate services if:
After termination, your data may be deleted. You should download and keep your own backups before cancelling, terminating or allowing a service to expire.
We process personal data in connection with account creation, billing, support, service operation, fraud prevention, security and legal compliance.
Where you host personal data of your own users, visitors, customers or clients through our hosting services, you are usually responsible for deciding why and how that personal data is processed. In such cases, HostingTera may act as a hosting provider or data processor for data stored on our services, depending on the situation.
If applicable law requires a data processing agreement, you should contact us before storing personal data that requires such an agreement.
A full Privacy Policy should be made available separately or added to this website before collecting personal data through account registration, contact forms, analytics, billing or support systems.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect our systems. However, you are responsible for securing your own websites, applications, passwords, plugins, themes, scripts, CMS installations and hosted content.
If you become aware of a security issue affecting your account or hosted content, you must take reasonable steps to fix it and inform us where the issue may affect HostingTera systems, other customers or third parties.
Some services may depend on third-party providers, registrars, registries, payment processors, software providers, data centers, network providers or licensing systems.
We are not responsible for failures, changes, restrictions, outages or decisions made by third parties outside our reasonable control.
HostingTera owns or licenses the design, branding, content, software, documentation and materials provided on our website and services, unless stated otherwise.
You retain ownership of the content you upload or host, but you grant us the necessary rights to store, transmit, process and display that content as required to provide the services.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HostingTera is not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of goodwill, loss of data, service interruption or damages caused by misuse, customer configuration, third-party attacks, force majeure events or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or mandatory consumer rights.
You agree to indemnify and hold HostingTera harmless from claims, damages, costs, penalties, legal expenses or losses arising from your hosted content, unlawful use of services, breach of these terms, infringement of third-party rights or misuse of your account, except where caused by our proven fault or mandatory law provides otherwise.
We may update these Terms of Service when needed for legal, technical, operational or business reasons. The updated version will be published on this page with a new update date.
Continued use of the services after changes become effective means that you accept the updated terms. If a change materially affects your rights and applicable law requires notice, we will provide notice through reasonable means.
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the legal entity operating HostingTera, unless mandatory consumer protection laws give you rights under another jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer, you may have mandatory rights in your country of residence that these terms cannot remove. If you are a business customer, disputes will be handled by the competent courts applicable to the HostingTera legal entity, unless mandatory law states otherwise.
If you have a complaint or dispute, please contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue directly.
The former European Online Dispute Resolution platform has been discontinued. Any mandatory consumer dispute resolution information required by applicable law should be provided in the Legal Notice / Imprint or a dedicated consumer information section.
If you have questions about these Terms of Service, billing, refunds, service usage or legal information, contact us before purchasing, renewing or continuing to use a service.
